The ANC doth protest too much

The vilification of Helen, as noted in a previous post, continues unabated. It has been seen the most outrageous, filthy, misogynistic and defamatory bile being spewed out by the attack dogs of the ANC and its allies. As she herself points out:

It did so in brutal fashion this week on a facebook site that listed Deputy Home Affairs Minister, Malusi Gigaba, and ANCYL spokesman, Floyd Shivambu, as administrators. The postings on this site exposed such depths of bigotry and misogyny, that it is almost understandable why gender activists avoid the real issues. The consequences of doing so can be devastating.

In public, we often hear the ANC reciting its mantra of a “non-racial, non-sexist society”. The warped set of hateful patriarchal attitudes displayed on this site, perhaps reveals more of the truth.

Led by their secretary general who declared Helen an enemy, and abetted by their glorious leader’s silence, these vile louts have seemingly been given free reign to spew their defamatory hate speech. The administrators of the crude and juvenile Facebook group, “ZILLE IS STILL A VENOMOUS WHITE RACIST ADULTERER” is none other than Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Malusi Gigaba. (The other is our Humpty Dumpty, linguist genius Floyd Shivambu.)

This group has now been removed, but you get the idea. What the ANC has demonstrated is that they are deeply racist, misogynistic and ….. scared.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the ANC are dead scared of auntie Helen and the DA. They dare not let them succeed, since it will show the ANC for what it is: a corrupt bunch of do-nothings who live to keep their snouts in the public trough at the direct expense of the poor deluded people who voted for them. In other words, they are terrified that the DA will run a clean administration and deliver services to ANC supporters. Then maybe – just maybe – the voting fodder in thrall of the ANC will start acting in their own interests.

So expect this war to be intensified. Don’t think these threats to make the Western Cape ungovernable are idle. These ANC attack dogs are fear biters.

Respect me, or else…

This spat between Helen Zille and the ANC is just getting totally ridiculous. Following on the moronic outpourings of bile from the ANC Youth League, the Umkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans’ Association, in the form of chairman Kebby Maphatsoe, has stepped up to the stupid plate:

Just recently, she appointed half her sex boys into the Western Cape provincial cabinet to keep them close enough to satisfy her well-evolved wild whore libido.

Bear in mind that the original gripe with Auntie Helen was that she was somehow sexist in appointing an all-male cabinet. Oh – the stupid!

The main gripe now, however is that she doesn’t respect Zacob Zuma. ANC secgen Gwede Mantashe told John Robbie this morning that the organisation would regard Zille as the enemy until she affirms her repect for the president. And you can’t use the factual, legal evidence from his rape trial – because he apologised. WTF?

Shades of Nighteen Eighty-Four, hey? Not only must you obey Big Brother, you must love Big Brother. Oh yeah, and if you don’t love BB, you’re shipped off to the Ministry of Love, for a spot of torture. Or in Helen’s case:

The MKMVAs deputy secretary Ramatuku Maphutha said the association
would mobilise soldiers in the Western Cape to go to Zille’s office
sometime next week if she did not retract her statement.

“They are always ready [the soldiers]. It’s either she [Zille]
vacates the office, or co-operates. We are prepared to sleep there if
need be until we get an impressive response,” said Ramatuku.

So what’s to respect? Personally I can’t see any reason to respect Jacob Zuma. Having unprotected intercourse with a young woman in his care who was known to be HIV positive while presumably having unprotected sex with his multiple wives and his (culturally allowed) other women, is bad enough. His homophobic and fasict social views would also wipe out any feelings of respect I might harbour. So too would the legally confirmed corrupt relationship with his convicted financial advisor. Not to mention his meddling in the Arms Deal investigation. Yes these things would do it for me.

But it’s his storming of the constitutional citadels that really makes him beneath contempt. That he allowed his legal team and henchmen to villify and threaten the courts and other institutions that stood in his way makes him a very dangerous bit of work. His blatant disrespect for the Constitution and its bodies that he has now sworn to protect should only engender feelings of alarm over his presidency. Certainly not respect.

But, so I’ve heard, Zille is disrespecting of the office of the presidency. Here we go again. Just like the Party conflates itself to the State, so Zuma the man has been conflated to the Office of the presidency. They are of course not the same thing.

Even then – does the office of the president, the constitutional office, deserve automatic respect? I’m inclined to say yes since I respect the Constitution as a bulwark against those who would strip me of my rights. As a test, would you accept a presidential award from Zuma?

But I don’t think it matters whether I or anyone else respects the office/constitution or not, but it certainly does matter when someone poses a danger to the constitution, Someone like, say, Zuma.

“Sleeping Around” means…

I’ve just listened to Redi Direko interview Floyd Shivambu, spokesman for the ANC Youth League, about his outrageous statement that Helen Zille sleeps around with her male cabinet colleagues.

Zille has appointed an all male cabinet of useless people, majority of
whom are her boyfriends and concubines so that she can continue to
sleep around with them, yet she claims to have the moral authority to
question our President.

When asked what he meant by Zille “sleeping around” with her male colleagues, he explained: ‘”Sleeping around” means sleeping around’. Further questioning revealed that the ANCYL interpreted the phrase “sleeping around” to mean “sleeping around”. And they stand by that.

Floyd is our very own Humpty Dumpty, only with less imagination:

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in a rather scornful tone, “it
means just what I choose it to mean – neither more nor less.”

“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many
different things.”

“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master – that’s all.”
Through the Looking Glass.

And then he told Redi to stop being childish. So there!

So just when you thought these cretins couldn’t get more idiotic, they think they can say anything at all with impunity since their words mean exactly what they want them to mean, nothing more, nothing less. As Floydie shouts: “We say what we mean, and we mean what we say”. If you know what he means. Which means what it means. I mean!

So they can make the following slanderous statement, without fear of being sued since they are just words uttered by a buffoon whose words bear no relation to what the rest of the world would understand them to mean:

If the fake racist girl Zille continues to speak hogwash like she has
been doing during elections, we will take militant action against her,
and demonstrate to her that she does not have monopoly over the Western
Cape. The fake racist girl who was dropped on a head as child should
understand that South Africa will never be a Mickey-mouse Republic like
she wants to portray it.

On reading Zille’s full statement, it is apparent that she is being entirely factual when she says:

The ANC, in all its 90 years of existence, has never elected (or
deployed) a woman as its leader. The DA has done so within the first
ten years of its existence. In fact, until recently, both the DA’s
national leader and Parliamentary leader were women.

The ANC’s alliance partners, the SACP and COSATU, are also led by
men. And, more significantly, the ANC’s leader, Jacob Zuma, is a
self-confessed womanizer with deeply sexist views, who put all his
wives at risk by having unprotected sex with an HIV-positive woman.
Even after this the ANC women’s league strongly endorsed his
Presidential campaign. Their professions of support for women’s rights
ring hollow indeed against this background.

Unfortunately, lobbing this sort of hand grenade into the political fray is not going to win any battles – let alone a war. The ANC and its allies have self-servingly latched onto this and have literally declared war on Auntie Helen.  Floydie baby threatens “militant action”. Now ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe wades in with:

You can see that this name Jacob Zuma or ANC is working on her nerves and
she has elevated her role from that of opposition to that of the
enemy,” Mantashe proclaimed emphatically.

Wonderful. This is no longer a schoolyard spat. It’s more like the new style of schoolyard spat leaving a kid clutching a gaping knife wound in his neck. Over a sandwich.

This is dangerous talk, kids.
